Vacancy medior product developer

For the Category Development Team Dairy Based Beverages, part of FrieslandCampina Innovation (Leeuwarden, but in May 2013 moving to Wageningen, The Netherlands), we are looking for a results-oriented medior product developer Would you like to execute/co-ordinate a variety of new product development and cost-saving projects for Friesland Campinas concentrated dairy products (evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk products and powders) for national and international markets? Were looking for a well-organised, highly analytical colleague with proven project management experience to play their part in our multidisciplinary development teams. You will work in different roles, sometimes as a team member and sometimes as a project leader. You will work extensively with marketing, operations, packaging research and logistics teams as together you explore new opportunities. Besides executing and supporting laboratory, pilot and factory trials, we will also look to you to act as advisor on raw materials, recipes and processes and, in time, develop into our application expert for concentrated dairy products. Along the way youll proactively extend your knowledge base by reading literature, monitoring the food market and regularly liaising with suppliers and colleagues alike. Its a role that involves travelling and working at various production and Research & Development sites in The Netherlands and Belgium, plus you will need to work abroad occasionally, for periods of up to 2 weeks Banen Onderwijs – Onderzoek – Wetenschap Detailhandel – Winkel HBO 32 – 40 uur
